Siemens S7-1200 Welding Commissioning

My linear welding SPM is already halfway there: the Siemens S7-1200 drives a Nidec servo flawlessly and all handshake signals to the Fronts welding power source are online. What I still need is full commissioning so the machine can run real parts with confidence.
Scope of the remaining work
• Combine the verified linear-motion program with live arc control, run full motion + arc trials on actual workpieces and fine-tune until we get a clean, continuous bead.
• Conduct complete system integration testing as part of commissioning, making sure every safety, I/O and interlock behaves as intended.
• Validate overall performance—travel accuracy, weld quality and cycle time—against the spec.
• Build a recipe management screen in the HMI (TIA Portal, Basic/Comfort panel) that lets me store, edit and recall parameters for multiple workpieces.
Acceptance criteria
1. Machine completes an end-to-end weld on at least three different sample parts without alarms.
2. All motion, weld and safety signals appear in the diagnostic buffer with correct timestamps.
3. Operator can select a recipe from the HMI, start the cycle and see the right parameters load automatically.
If you know your way around Siemens TIA Portal, S7-1200 PLCs, Nidec servo drives and have commissioned arc-welding cells before, I’d like to hand this final stage over to you.
