Shopify WhatsApp Order Notifications App

I’m looking for a developer who can build a private Shopify app that automatically sends WhatsApp messages whenever an order moves through its life-cycle. The focus is purely on transactional alerts, not marketing blasts.

The workflow is straightforward: when an order is placed, the customer should get a WhatsApp confirmation that includes the order summary. As soon as I generate a tracking number, a second message must go out with that number and an estimated delivery time. Finally, when the courier marks the parcel as delivered, a brief delivery-confirmation message should be pushed.

The app has to listen to Shopify webhooks for these three events, format the data into pre-approved WhatsApp Business API templates, and fire the message in real time. I want a small settings screen inside Shopify where I can paste my WhatsApp Business API credentials, switch individual notifications on or off, and edit the template copy (placeholders for {{order_id}}, {{tracking_number}}, etc. are fine).

Key deliverables
• A Shopify-approved app (embedded) that installs via the normal OAuth flow.
• Webhook handlers for order confirmation, shipping update, and delivery confirmation.
• Message payloads that include order summary, tracking number, and estimated delivery time exactly as received from Shopify.
• A simple log showing success/failure status for each WhatsApp request.
• Basic instructions for setup plus a short video or screenshots demonstrating the flow.

I’m happy to walk through the templates I already have with Meta and will promptly supply access tokens and test numbers. Accuracy and reliability are more important than fancy UI, so feel free to lean on Node.js, Python, or whichever stack you’re most comfortable with, as long as it plays nicely with the Shopify Admin API and the WhatsApp Business Cloud API.
