Shopify Store for Medical Equipment

The goal is to launch a clean, fully-functional Shopify storefront for a retail business that handles three parallel offerings: direct sales of medical equipment, short-term rentals of that same equipment, and online booking for diagnostic tests. The Shopify account is active but still empty, so this is a ground-up build.

I’ll supply product photos, pricing, rental terms, and test descriptions; you take care of the technical setup and visual polish so each service stream feels distinct yet part of one cohesive brand.

Core tasks
• Install and customise a responsive medical-grade Shopify theme
• Create clear navigation and collections for “Buy”, “Rent”, and “Diagnostic Tests”
• Configure variants or an app so each item can toggle between purchase and rental, with rental duration and deposit options shown at checkout
• Add a lightweight calendar/booking solution for diagnostic tests and connect it to checkout
• Integrate payment gateway and standard shipping (courier and local pickup)
• Populate the store with an agreed number of sample products so I can follow your structure
• Apply basic SEO titles and meta descriptions for the three service areas

Acceptance criteria
1. All three service categories are visible on the home page and reachable in two clicks or fewer.
2. A test customer can successfully complete checkout for a purchase, a rental, and a diagnostic-test booking in a sandbox environment.
3. Store passes Google PageSpeed 80+ on desktop after sample products are loaded.
