Collaborate with Data Engineering on system design and code reviews with reliability and operability in mind

Write and maintain runbooks, incident response playbooks, and platform documentation

Support analyst enablement by improving platform reliability, query performance, and data accessibility across global teams

Suggest and implement improvements to team tooling, processes, and operational practices

Who you are:

6-8+ years in software engineering with meaningful experience in SRE, platform engineering, or data infrastructure roles

Proven record of contributing to production incident response, including stakeholder communication and post-incident analysis

Deep understanding of monitoring and observability: alerting design, SLO definition, dashboards, and root cause analysis across distributed systems

Hands-on experience with Snowflake or equivalent data warehouse at an operational level - access management, cost governance, performance tuning

Experience with infrastructure-as-code; Terraform experience strongly preferred

Strong debugging skills across cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and distributed systems

Familiarity with data pipeline tooling (Fivetran, dbt, Airflow, or equivalent)

AWS experience preferred

Clear, proactive communicator - comfortable translating technical incidents to business and analyst stakeholders without jargon

Motivated to reduce toil through automation and scalable process - not just absorb operational load, but systematically eliminate it
