Senior Security Systems Engineer – Security Control Plane / IAM / Cloud Security
We are building a security platform focused on identity, continuous trust, risk-aware authorization, short-lived access, and verifiable security controls.
We are looking for a senior hands-on Security Systems Engineer to join a small engineering team working on the architecture, integration, testing, and hardening of this platform.
This is a technical engineering role—not a documentation or compliance-only position.
What You Will Work On
Security control-plane and Zero Trust architecture
IAM, authentication, authorization and PAM
Short-lived, revocable access / privilege mechanisms
Identity and device trust relationships
Endpoint/XDR security signal integrations
Security event normalization and trust/risk context
Kubernetes and cloud security
Workload identity, mTLS and service-to-service security
Security policy enforcement and deterministic authorization
Security telemetry, event pipelines and observability
Threat modeling, attack simulation and security testing
Performance and reliability testing of security-critical services
Designing secure failure and outage behavior
Technologies
Experience with several of the following is highly desirable:
Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, Okta or other enterprise IAM
PAM / JIT / privileged access
Cortex XDR/XSIAM, Microsoft Defender or other EDR/XDR platforms
WebAuthn / FIDO2 / passkeys
SPIFFE/SPIRE and workload identity
Kubernetes
Docker
Cilium / eBPF / Tetragon
NATS / JetStream or similar event streaming
ClickHouse or other high-volume security data platforms
REST APIs, event-driven architecture and microservices
PKI, certificates, mTLS and cryptographic signing
Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
Python, Go, Java, Node.js or similar backend technologies
You do not need to have experience with every technology listed. Strong fundamentals in security architecture and the ability to learn and integrate unfamiliar technologies are important.
