Self-Record 2 Short Newsreader Scenes

We require an actress to self-record two short news stories for a short film. The broadcasts are seen by a character in the short film, whose story involves a lifeguard who has committed a crime.

DELIVERABLES
- Two self-recorded news-reader stories, approximately 30 seconds each; footage only.
- Seated news-anchor delivery to camera behind a desk, with a slick, professional CNN or local-news broadcast look.
- One camera setup; a digital background is acceptable. 4K delivery preferred; no graphics required.
- The client will provide the scripts and pronunciation notes. English delivery; an Australian accent is preferred, but other accents are welcome.
- You will be credited the performer as “Newsreader” in the film credits and festival press kits.

We provide two short news scripts (each around 30 seconds); you record them as if you are a polished TV anchor. Picture a slick CNN-style set: you’re seated behind a desk, camera locked off, and a digital newsroom background sells the broadcast environment. Formal on-air attire—a suit jacket or blazer—will complete the look. You do need a professional or digital background.

The read should feel authentic and authoritative, just as viewers expect from a real bulletin. A natural Australian accent is ideal, yet any clear, professional English delivery is welcome.

Deliverables
• Two 4K video files, clean footage only, no graphics or lower thirds
• Single-camera angle, horizontal framing, well-lit, neutral colour grade
• Each take roughly 30 seconds, delivered as separate files (or a single file with a clear slate between them).

We are happy to work together to ensure the footage is perfect. The set price is for the two final files delivery. Once the files are approved, you’ll be credited as “Newsreader” in the final film and all festival press materials.
