We are looking for a talented and reliable Freelance YouTube Video Editor to turn raw footage into highly engaging, retention-optimized videos. The ideal candidate understands YouTube pacing, knows how to hook an audience within the first 30 seconds, and can maintain a consistent visual brand voice. This is an ongoing project. If your initial test edit goes well, we want to bring you on for a consistent, long-term monthly retainer contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full Video Assembly: Edit raw A-roll footage into a clean, compelling story narrative.
- Pacing & Hook Optimization: Cut dead air, add strategic zoom-ins/outs, and optimize retention hooks.
- Visual Enhancements: Source and integrate high-quality B-roll, pop-up text graphics, transitions, and lower-thirds.
- Audio Engineering: Implement clean sound design (SFX), balance background music, and remove audio background noise.
- Color Grading: Perform basic color correction to give the videos a cohesive, polished look.
Requirements & Software:
- Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of proven experience editing explicitly for digital creators or YouTube channels.
- Software: High proficiency in industry-standard software—preferably Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Technical Asset: Must have a reliable hardware setup capable of editing and exporting 1080p/4K footage.
- Communication: Ability to follow detailed feedback and return revisions within agreed turnaround times.
Deliverables & Scope:
