Our company is creating a premium, collectible, personalized football journey map for passionate fans of the University of Georgia football program (as part of a series for additional programs).
The finished artwork will be produced primarily in a 32 × 24 inch landscape format and should feel substantial enough to become a centerpiece in a fan’s home, office, game room, or collection.
While Athens and Sanford Stadium will serve as the emotional center of the piece, the product will ultimately be personalized in our company's patented process to highlight the locations each individual fan has traveled to in support of Georgia football.
The objective is not to create a navigational map. Instead, the finished piece should feel like a visual record of the places, rivalries, road trips, traditions, memories and experiences that shape a fan’s life. We want someone to look at the artwork and remember traveling to the "World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party" every year in Jacksonville, slowly their way over the Great Smoky Mountains to Knoxville TN, making the trip to Tuscaloosa, attending a bowl game in Miami, South Bend or the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, etc.
At the same time, the design must avoid becoming cluttered, overly busy, diagrammatic, or visually confusing. The finished product should feel Premium. Emotional. Layered. Sophisticated. Collectible. Most importantly, it should feel unmistakably like a "bragging centerpiece" in a UGA Fan's Home/Office/ManCave...a "must-have” piece for the most passionate Georgia football fan.
What We Are Providing
We have already completed a significant amount of geographic and production groundwork. Provided assets include:
* An illustration of Sanford Stadium, intended as the primary or “hero” stadium asset.
* A geographic base containing the historical locations where Georgia has played football since 1892.
* QGIS project files and related geographic assets (geographic work has been developed using QGIS to enable our later production customization process).
* Topographic/elevation information.
* Location data for the cities included in the product.
* Supporting map outlines and geographic reference material.
Additional Preferences:
- Designers from US/Canada/UK/Australia are preferred due to cultural familiarity with premium sports fandoms and ease of communication.
- Avoid cartoony or avant-garde styles; open to vintage, modern, or illustrative treatments.
