I need a detailed, data-driven review of how my search engine performs for typical informational queries. The focus is squarely on user experience: I want to understand not just whether the most relevant pages rise to the top, but how real users react and click when they see each results page.

Here’s how I see the work unfolding:

1. You’ll compile or use an existing set of representative informational queries (news, how-to questions, definitions, background research, etc.).
2. For each query, you’ll run live tests, capture the full results page, then track and log click-through behaviour—either through controlled user sessions, analytics tagging, or an equivalent repeatable method.
3. Using those click-through rates as the key metric, you’ll pinpoint where the engine delights, where it confuses, and why certain results under-perform despite appearing relevant.
4. I’d like clear commentary on UX factors you observe (snippet quality, layout distractions, perceived trust, speed) backed by the collected CTR data.

Deliverable: a concise report summarising findings, the raw CTR dataset, and actionable suggestions I can feed back into ranking or UI tweaks.

If you have prior experience with search quality evaluation, A/B testing, or tools like Google Search Console, Mixpanel, Hotjar, or similar click-tracking solutions, please mention it—those skills will make the process smoother.
