I’m looking for a designer-developer who can turn my vision of a high-end restaurant website into a fully responsive, production-ready build. The look has to feel distinctly premium: bold, modern typography, a crisp colour palette, smooth micro-animations, and absolutely no “cookie-cutter template” vibe.
Core concept
The site is for a restaurant, so the homepage will open with an immersive slide show of dishes that loads fast and scales perfectly from widescreen desktop down to mobile. Just beneath that I want a dedicated Chef’s Special section that can be easily updated and highlighted with subtle hover effects. A dynamic Customer Reviews carousel should round off the hero area, lending social proof and encouraging bookings.
Flexibility & extras
Although the primary layout is restaurant-focused, I may repurpose the same codebase for other verticals later, so please keep the slideshow and “featured item” components modular—swapping dishes for cars or other products should be as simple as editing JSON or a CMS block.
Tech & performance
Build everything in clean, semantic HTML5, SCSS/CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript (or GSAP when animation really matters). I need impeccable Lighthouse scores, organised file structure, and gracefully degrading animations for older browsers. No external frameworks unless they genuinely speed things up without bloat.
Deliverables
• Responsive HTML/CSS/JS source, ready to deploy
• Animation & interaction scripts commented for easy tweaking
• One round of refinement after initial review
• Handoff documentation covering asset optimisation and how to swap media/content
If you love crafting pixel-perfect UIs and can make this feel as polished on a phone as it does on a 4K monitor, let’s get started.
