SAP QA Lead – Global Rollout

I’m steering a multi-country SAP deployment in the Life Sciences sector and need a seasoned functional consultant to take full ownership of quality assurance across every phase. The solution spans MM, SD, PM, LE-TRA, GTS, EWM, and WM, with numerous third-party interfaces that must work flawlessly from day one.

Your mandate is to design and run a rock-solid test programme, then close the loop on every defect:

• Lead all key test phases—SIT, E2E, and UAT—co-ordinating business users, integrators, and developers.
• Build end-to-end test scenarios that exercise cross-module flows, batch jobs, EDI, serialisation, and validated lab systems.
• Maintain full traceability in both HP ALM and qTest, linking requirements to scripts, executions, and defects.
• Drive daily defect triage, root-cause analysis, and retest cycles until each issue is fully resolved and retested.
• Track regression coverage so nothing slips through during transport moves or change windows.

Deliverables I expect:
1. A master test strategy and schedule signed off by all work-stream leads.
2. Complete, version-controlled test scripts with mapped requirements in HP ALM/qTest.
3. Daily defect dashboards highlighting priorities and ageing items.
4. A final test exit report showing coverage metrics, residual risk assessment, and release readiness.

Acceptance criteria will be met when all critical and high-severity defects are closed, traceability is 100 %, and business sign-off is secured for each market rollout.
