ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Salesforce Communications Cloud Developer with hands-on EPC and CPQ experience to join a 12-month contract engagement working in the ANZ time zone. This is a build-focused role where you'll be configuring and developing Enterprise Product Catalog and CPQ solutions that power complex telco product and quoting flows.
The work can be done remotely, but you'll need to keep ANZ business hours for collaboration with the delivery team. We need someone who can show real, demonstrable work in Communications Cloud EPC and CPQ, not just exposure to it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
EPC Development & Configuration
Build and configure product specifications, product offerings, and commercial bundles within the Enterprise Product Catalog
Set up pricing, eligibility rules, and product relationships to support telco product hierarchies
Maintain catalog data models and ensure they support downstream quoting and ordering processes
CPQ Development
Develop and configure CPQ solutions including cart-based configuration, pricing, and quoting flows
Build and troubleshoot OmniStudio components (OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures) supporting the CPQ journey
Implement guided selling and configuration logic against the product catalog
Technical Delivery
Translate functional requirements into working Communications Cloud configuration and code
Write clean, maintainable Apex and Lightning Web Components where custom work is needed
Support testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities across environments
Work closely with architects, BAs, and other developers to deliver against sprint goals
What We're Looking For
Must-Have
Specific and demonstrable Salesforce Communications Cloud experience, with real EPC and CPQ project work you can speak to in detail
Hands-on EPC configuration: product modelling, pricing, bundles, and eligibility rules
Hands-on CPQ development: cart configuration, quoting flows, and guided selling
Strong OmniStudio skills (OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures)
Solid Apex and Lightning Web Component development
Ability to work within ANZ business hours
Technical Depth
Telco product and quoting concepts (product specs, commercial product structures, BSS/OSS context)
Integration patterns relevant to catalog and quoting (REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Procedures)
Comfortable debugging configuration and code issues across EPC and CPQ
Familiarity with Salesforce deployment and release practices
Preferred Certifications
Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer
Salesforce Certified Communications Cloud Accredited Professional
Salesforce Platform Developer I / II
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with order management or fulfilment flows downstream of CPQ
Exposure to Agile delivery in a contract or consulting setting
WHAT SETS YOU APART
Specific project examples that map directly to EPC and CPQ work, with enough detail to show what you actually built
Relevant certifications that back up your hands-on experience
Availability to start within 2 to 4 weeks
