Rural India Book Ghostwriting

I have the raw ideas, field notes, and a loose chapter outline for a book that demystifies life in rural India, with agriculture and farming at its heart. I need a skilled ghostwriter who can weave these materials into an engaging narrative that speaks to the general public—readers who may know very little about village realities but are curious about where their food comes from and how policies shape that journey.

Scope of work
• Flesh out each chapter from my outline, enriching it with vivid storytelling, solid data, and on-the-ground anecdotes.
• Highlight the impact of government policies on farmers’ livelihoods, market access, subsidies, and sustainability. Other development angles such as infrastructure or rural entrepreneurship can be touched on where they help the story, but policy impact must remain the thread that ties everything together.
• Conduct additional desk research, citing credible Indian and international sources.
• Deliver a complete manuscript of roughly 60,000–70,000 words, ready for copy-edit.

Style & tone
Conversational, relatable, and informative—think long-form journalism rather than an academic paper. Clear explanations of economic terms are essential so a lay reader never feels lost.

Process
I’ll share existing notes, interview transcripts, and references via Google Drive. We’ll agree on a detailed chapter plan, then work in milestones: sample chapter, first half draft, full draft, and final revisions. Manuscript files should be submitted in Microsoft Word with tracked changes enabled.
