Our facility needs a steady hand to keep the electrical side of our operation in top shape. Day-to-day reliability is far more important to us than flashy upgrades, so the core of the engagement is straightforward: perform scheduled, methodical checks on our existing circuits, outlets, lighting runs, and control panels, then act immediately on anything out of spec before it escalates.

You will work with the layout drawings already on site, verify load balances, test protective devices, clean and tighten terminations, and document readings so we can track degradation over time. When you spot a worn breaker, a loose neutral, or insulation beginning to crack, you’ll swap or re-terminate it on the spot, logging the corrective action in the same report. All activities must comply with local code and our internal safety procedures—lock-out/tag-out is non-negotiable.

Because most of the plant remains live while we operate, you must be comfortable planning safe isolation points, coordinating short shutdown windows, and handling test equipment (multimeters, clamp meters, megohmmeters) confidently. Basic mechanical aptitude is handy since a loose conduit clip or fatigued tray cover should be tightened or replaced during the pass rather than flagged for someone else.

Deliverables
• A bi-weekly inspection checklist completed, signed, and stored in our SharePoint.
• Quick-fix log summarising any breakers, lamps, connectors, or terminal strips replaced.
• A quarterly trend report highlighting readings that drift more than 5 % from baseline and recommending proactive action.

Acceptance criteria: every scheduled inspection must be timestamped, photo-verified where repairs occur, and leave all panels sealed with the correct torque mark.

Tools on site include Fluke 376 FC, Megger MIT400, and standard hand tools; feel free to bring your own favourites as long as they are calibrated. Safety gear (arc-rated coveralls, gloves, face shield) is provided, but you’re welcome to use your personal PPE if it meets the same rating.

If you keep systems humming through disciplined routine checks, I’m ready to slot you into our preventive maintenance calendar right away.
