PROJECT SUMMARY:Perform a comprehensive active Radio Frequency (RF) and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) site survey across six (6) dormitory buildings totaling approximately 308,943 sq. ft. at Tyndall AFB, FL. The objective is to evaluate coverage, capacity, signal propagation, and interference to support long-term wireless infrastructure planning.

Frequency Bands:
Measure and evaluate coverage across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz (Wi-Fi 6E/7) bands.
Methodology:
Utilize an AP-on-a-Stick (APaaS) setup to simulate real-world access point propagation, signal attenuation through facility walls/doors, and optimal AP mounting locations.Survey Coverage: Conduct continuous active and passive survey walkthroughs across designated corridors, common spaces, and representative living quarters within all 6 dormitory facilities.
Required Data Collection:
Signal Strength (RSSI) metrics (minimum -65 dBm target).Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) and noise floor analysis.Secondary coverage and overlap validation for roaming redundancy.Channel overlap, co-channel interference (CCI), and adjacent channel interference (ACI).

Required Tooling & Hardware
The technician must arrive equipped with:Industry-standard diagnostic kit: Ekahau Sidekick / Sidekick 2 or NETSCOUT / AirMagnet Survey PRO.Portable APaaS rig (tripod/mast adjustable to ceiling height, battery pack, and a test enterprise AP).Laptop or tablet running current, licensed survey software.Standard PPE as required for base facility access.

Deliverables
Raw Survey Files: Complete, unedited .esx (Ekahau) or .amz (AirMagnet) project files uploaded to the platform upon site departure.Site Photos: High-resolution photos documenting recommended AP placement points, ceiling grid types, and notable structural obstructions.Sign-Off Sheet: Facility escort sign-in/sign-out verification.
