I have a clear concept for a 2D, retro-style arcade game and now need a developer who can take that idea from an empty folder to a polished, browser-ready release. The entire game must be built in HTML5/JavaScript, ideally with a framework such as Phaser, PixiJS or a comparable engine that keeps the codebase lightweight and easy to extend.

Core expectations
• Classic arcade feel: think tight controls, simple but addictive loop, pixel-art visuals and chiptune-style audio.
• Responsive canvas: the game must resize smoothly across desktop and mobile browsers without distorting graphics.
• Performance first: 60 fps on modern devices, minimal loading times, no dependencies that bloat the bundle.
• Clean, well-commented code so future tweaks—extra levels, leaderboards, ads—can slot in without a rewrite.

Deliverables
1. Source project with all assets (sprites, tilemaps, audio, fonts).
2. Minified production build with an index.html ready for upload.
3. Brief setup guide covering asset pipeline, build commands and how to change key gameplay settings.
4. A playable demo link so I can test before sign-off.

Acceptance criteria
– Gameplay matches the retro arcade mechanic we agree on.
– No console errors in Chrome, Firefox, Safari and mobile browsers.
– Touch, keyboard and (where relevant) mouse controls all function intuitively.
– Final zip exports under 10 MB.

If you love old-school arcades and can ship a buttery-smooth HTML5 experience, let’s talk.
