Retrieve Lost TikTok Android Videos

My old TikTok account was permanently banned sometime between 2023-2024, and all of the videos I created on my Android phone disappeared with it. The only evidence I still have is:

• a JSON archive that TikTok let me download before the ban (it contains my post history, file names, dates, etc.)
• thumbnail images that appear inside a “restore old files” app on the phone, although the actual .mp4 files refuse to open or export.

What I need is straightforward: I want every original video recovered in a format I can download and keep locally. If account reinstatement turns out to be impossible, that is fine—getting the videos themselves is the priority.

Useful details
• Device of origin: Android phone (still in my possession).
• Backup status: I’m not certain whether Google Photos, internal cache folders, or TikTok’s temporary storage may still hold fragments.
• I have not rooted the phone or run any deep-scan utilities yet, so the storage is still in its original state.

Scope of work

1. Analyse the JSON export for file paths or identifiers.
2. Perform a non-destructive scan of the handset (ADB, forensic imaging, or reputable recovery software) to locate the missing .mp4 files.
3. Reconstruct or extract each video in the highest quality that still exists.
4. Provide the recovered videos plus a brief outline of the steps/tools used, so I can repeat the process if needed.

Acceptance criteria
• All recoverable videos delivered as playable files (.mp4 or original format).
• File names or timestamps match what is listed in the JSON or thumbnails.
• No damage to other phone data; recovery process is fully explained.
