My internal IA Agent suddenly stopped responding even though nothing in the environment was changed. I have already gone through the configuration files and settings, and everything appears normal, yet the service still stays silent.

Here is what I can tell you:
• Symptom: the agent accepts a request but never returns a reply—no errors, no logs beyond the initial handshake.
• Onset: the problem surfaced randomly; there were no updates, deployments, or hardware changes that I’m aware of.
• Attempted fix: only a configuration review so far. I have not restarted the whole system or re-installed the package, so you’re free to take those routes if they make sense after your analysis.

What I need from you
1. Identify the root cause of the freeze.
2. Restore full responsiveness of the IA Agent.
3. Provide a concise summary (steps taken, files altered, and any preventive recommendations) so I can repeat the fix if it reappears.
