# Migrate Existing Replit Website to GoDaddy Hosting – No New Development Required

## Project Overview

We have an already-developed and fully functional website currently hosted on Replit.

We want to migrate the **existing website from Replit to our GoDaddy hosting/server** because the ongoing Replit hosting cost is high.

This is strictly a **hosting migration and deployment project**. We do **not** require any new features, redesign, or development.

The website already includes:

* A fully developed public-facing website
* A working admin/control panel
* Existing backend functionality
* Existing database/data, where applicable
* Existing configurations and integrations

The freelancer's responsibility will be to move the existing application from Replit to GoDaddy and make sure everything works exactly as it does currently.

## Important – Website Details

The website name/domain and live URLs will **NOT be disclosed publicly at this stage**.

The website URL, admin panel URL, source/code access and other credentials will be provided **only to the selected freelancer after the project is awarded**.

## Scope of Work

The selected freelancer will be required to:

1. Review the existing website and its current Replit setup.
2. Understand the existing technology stack and dependencies.
3. Take a complete backup/copy of the existing website and required data.
4. Set up the appropriate GoDaddy hosting/server environment.
5. Migrate the complete existing website from Replit to GoDaddy.
6. Migrate/configure the backend and database, if applicable.
7. Configure all required environment variables, secrets and server settings.
8. Install/configure the required dependencies and runtime.
9. Deploy the existing application on GoDaddy.
10. Configure the domain/DNS as required.
11. Configure SSL/HTTPS.
12. Ensure the existing admin/control panel works correctly.
13. Ensure all existing forms, database operations, APIs and other existing functionality continue to work.
14. Test the website thoroughly after migration.
15. Fix any migration-related compatibility or deployment issues.
16. Make the GoDaddy-hosted version live.
17. Keep the existing website operational until the new GoDaddy version has been fully tested and confirmed working.

## No New Development

**No new features are required.**

We are NOT looking for:

* Website redesign
* UI/UX changes
* New features
* New modules
* New functionality
* SEO work
* Content changes
* Major code modifications

The objective is simply:

**Replit → GoDaddy migration + successful deployment + complete testing.**

If minor code/configuration changes are technically necessary to make the existing application compatible with GoDaddy, those changes should be limited strictly to migration/deployment requirements.

## Admin Panel

The existing website has an admin/control panel.

The admin panel must be migrated along with the main website and must remain fully functional after migration.

All existing admin functionality should continue working without unnecessary changes.

## Expected Final Result

After completion:

**Current:**
Existing website hosted on Replit

**Target:**
Same website hosted and running properly on GoDaddy

The website should look and function the same as the current version, with no loss of data or functionality.

## Important Requirements

Please apply only if you have experience with:

* Replit-hosted websites/applications
* Website/server migration
* GoDaddy hosting
* Node.js or the relevant existing technology stack
* Database migration
* DNS configuration
* SSL configuration
* Deployment and production troubleshooting

You must be comfortable inspecting an existing codebase and determining the correct GoDaddy hosting environment required for it.

## Deliverables

The project will be considered complete only after:

* Website is successfully migrated to GoDaddy
* Admin/control panel is working
* Database/data is intact
* Existing functionality has been tested
* Domain is working correctly
* HTTPS/SSL is working
* No major errors are present
* Website is running independently from Replit
* We can safely discontinue the Replit hosting after verification

## Access

After selecting the freelancer, we will provide the necessary access/details, including:

* Existing website/source code access
* Replit access or required deployment/source files
* GoDaddy hosting access/details as required
* Database credentials/access where applicable
* Domain/DNS access where required

We will NOT publish these details in the project description.

## When Applying

3. Which GoDaddy hosting environment you recommend after reviewing the project.
4. Whether you can migrate the existing application **without changing its functionality**.

## Budget

Please provide your **best fixed-price quotation** for the complete migration.

This is a relatively straightforward migration project for an already-developed website, so please quote accordingly.

## Selection Preference

Preference will be given to freelancers who:

* Have successfully migrated similar applications
* Understand both Replit and GoDaddy deployment
* Can independently identify the correct hosting configuration
* Can complete the migration without unnecessary development
* Can test the complete application after deployment
