I’m building an online “rental boyfriend” platform and need a clean MVP that lets people discover the right match quickly. The core of this first release is a fast, intuitive search and filter system: users choose a location (city or radius) and select shared interests, then see matching profiles instantly.
User accounts should hold only preference data for now—no photos or detailed personal info. Think of a lightweight profile editor where someone ticks their interests and sets their city; everything else can stay optional until a later phase.
Here’s what I expect to see on hand-off:
• Responsive web app (desktop & mobile) with email/social sign-up
• Preferences-based profile editor that saves to the database
• Search & filtering by city/radius and multi-select interests, returning results in under 300 ms on a dataset of at least 10 k records
• Clear, well-commented code in a private GitHub repo, plus a one-click deploy guide (AWS, Vercel, Heroku—your choice)
• Lighthouse performance score of 90+ on the main pages
A React or Next.js front-end with a Node/Express, Django, or similar back-end is ideal, but I’m open to alternatives if you can meet the speed and deployment requirements.
When you reply, outline your preferred tech stack, how long you’ll need, and links to any comparable search-heavy projects you’ve delivered.
