I run an established 18-plus WordPress site that combines a blog, a WooCommerce store and a bbPress-powered forum. Traffic is healthy and new content is posted daily, so I need a reliable developer I can hire by the hour whenever updates or fixes pop up.
Typical work involves tweaking the child theme for better mobile presentation, selecting or configuring plugins, writing small snippets to extend WooCommerce, cleaning up template files for the blog, and keeping the forum fast and spam-free. From time to time I will also ask for help integrating new payment gateways or adjusting the shopping-cart flow, so prior experience with Stripe or similar APIs is welcome.
Because the site features explicit adult material, you must be comfortable working with 18+ content and follow WordPress best practices to keep everything secure and performant. Communication can be async but I do expect short turnaround on small tasks and clear reports on the hours you spend.
Initial deliverables I would like to tackle first include:
• Correct a stray layout issue on single-post pages
• Replace the product grid with a custom masonry layout
• Investigate and fix a checkout error occurring for some users
• Update bbPress templates so avatars display consistently
