Renew TCEQ Discharge Permit Paperwork

Our previous TCEQ permit covered the use of produced fresh water from our oil wells for irrigation. That authorization has now lapsed, and we want to replace it with a new permit that will allow the same water to be discharged directly to a receiving water body and flow off-site naturally.

What I can supply up-front is only a copy of the original permit; we have no history of compliance problems under that authorization, so the record with TCEQ is clean. Everything else—forms, engineering calculations, maps, effluent characterizations, public-notice language, and any supporting studies—will need to be prepared from scratch and packaged in a submission that TCEQ will accept without revision.

Please outline:

• The specific documents you will generate (e.g., TPDES application sections, NOI, BMP plans).
• Any sampling or analytical work you will need us to perform on site.
• A realistic timeline for internal draft, my review, and final filing.

I will consider the job complete once TCEQ confirms the application is administratively complete and issues an authorization number.
