Remote Volunteer Coordinator Needed

I run a growing non-profit and need a detail-oriented Remote Volunteer Coordinator who can take full ownership of our volunteer program from end to end. Your core focus will be threefold: recruit and onboard new volunteers, plan and coordinate our virtual and in-person events, and design ongoing training and support that keeps every volunteer engaged and effective.

Beyond those day-to-day duties, I also need you to pull every existing document, spreadsheet, guideline, and template into one streamlined portfolio so nothing falls through the cracks. Once that central hub is built, you will work directly with me to draft and prioritise job descriptions for future volunteer roles based on organisational needs.

We do not rely on standard project-management and communication tools—but if you're familiar with Asana or Trello for task tracking and Slack or Zoom for quick check-ins. your experience is welcome. Experience with volunteer-specific platforms such as VolunteerHub or SignUpGenius will be a real plus, though I am open to whichever system you feel is most efficient.

By the end of your first 90 days I will look for:
• A clear recruitment pipeline with defined touchpoints
• A consolidated, easy-to-access portfolio of all volunteer assets
• Up-to-date training materials and an onboarding checklist
• A prioritised list of new volunteer job descriptions ready for review
