I’m looking for a reliable remote assistant who can become the first point of contact for my small company’s phone line. All inbound calls are customer service-related and I’ll forward them directly to you, so you’ll need a quiet workspace, a stable internet connection and the ability to present my business number on every outgoing call.
Alongside the phones, you’ll monitor our Gmail account throughout the day—flagging urgent messages, replying to routine queries and keeping the inbox tidy. Every active job or client request is logged in Microsoft Project; you’ll update task status, due dates and notes so that nothing slips through the cracks.
A third part of the role is job-search support. I maintain several online profiles and social channels for recruiting new business. You’ll log in, search the targeted sites I specify, and submit applications or proposals on my behalf following the templates I provide.
Daily responsibilities
• Answer forwarded customer service calls professionally and document each interaction
• Check Gmail at regular intervals, respond where appropriate and escalate priority items
• Update Microsoft Project with progress notes, percent-complete and next steps
• Search designated platforms and submit job or project applications using my guidelines
Success in this position means callers always feel heard, my inbox stays under control, projects remain up to date in Microsoft Project and new opportunities are pursued consistently. If you already have VOIP experience and can start quickly, let’s talk.
