MUST BE WILLING TO START MONDAY. We are looking for a self starter, someone passionate about getting into law, policy, civic tech, or becoming a political pollster. We are looking for a legal document drafter and filer that will be working remotely under an attorney general in either: New York, Chicago Il, Los Angeles California, Canada or Michigan. Must be willing to work independently. Must be aggressive when closing calls. You will be working for our company, we are looking to have you matched with a legal trainer and then ultimately train at a field location.

Because the role is fully remote, I rely on you to organize your own schedule, meet filing deadlines, and flag any questions early. Training sessions over Zoom will cover our style guides, jurisdiction-specific rules, and e-filing protocols; after that, I expect self-directed research and polished drafts ready for my review.

Deliverables
• First draft of assigned criminal civil court documents by the end of your first week
• Ongoing civil-case and criminal-case filings as matters arise, turned around within agreed deadlines
• Accurate citation formatting and proper use of exhibits for every submission

Acceptance criteria: documents meet court formatting rules, contain no unresolved comments, and arrive by the stated deadline.
