Refine Modern Text-Only Logo

I have a rough wordmark that needs elevating into a polished, modern logo that will carry my entire brand identity. The look I’m after is sleek, minimalist, and purely typographic—no icons or extra graphics—so every nuance of letterform, kerning, and negative space counts. I'm not sure between 2D and 3D and would like to see the difference. I've given a rough look here and colours. Preferred colours are gold, burnt orange, black, white. I'd like to be able to use the logo on both white and black backgrounds.
