Freelance Brief — Runway Music Mix + Visual Background

I’m looking for someone to create a short, high-energy runway soundtrack and accompanying visual background for a small fashion event in Port Hedland, Western Australia.

The show will run for approximately 15 minutes and includes 3 runway segments with 10 looks in each segment.

The music direction is confident, playful, sexy, fashion-forward and celebratory — with a mix of strong female pop, club energy and darker editorial moments.

The current music structure is roughly:

Segment 1 — Fun / cheeky / high energy

Wind It Up — Gwen Stefani
London Bridge — Fergie
Run the World (Girls) — Beyoncé

Segment 2 — Darker / sexier / editorial

Love Lockdown — Kanye West
Shot You Down — Audio Bullys feat. Nancy Sinatra

Segment 3 — Build / finale

What You Waiting For? — Gwen Stefani
We Found Love — Rihanna
Diamonds — Rihanna

I’d like the final mix to feel smooth and intentional, without chopping every song into tiny sections. Ideally each song is given enough time to breathe, with a mix of clean transitions, beat cuts and stronger mood changes where appropriate.

The opening has a short flash-mob-style dance before the first model enters, so timing at the beginning is particularly important.

Visual component

I would also love the freelancer to create or source a simple looping background visual that runs behind the fashion show and reacts or aligns loosely with the music.

The visual direction is:

Abstract
Atmospheric
Fluid movement
Smoke, light trails, particles, energy, fire/water-style motion
Strong blue and orange colour palette
Dark/black background
Elegant and cinematic rather than overly busy
Enough movement to feel alive, but not so much that it distracts from the models

The attached references show the type of visual style I’m drawn to — glowing blue and orange smoke, flowing energy, light trails and abstract movement.

Ideally the visual would also change slightly with the music, for example:

lighter/more energetic movement during the opening
darker and slower during the middle section
gradually building in intensity toward the finale
strongest visual moment during the final track

The visual doesn’t need to be an overly complex music video — a stylish, polished animated backdrop that complements the runway would be perfect.

Deliverables

I’d ideally like:

One continuous runway audio mix, approx. 15 minutes
One continuous video/visual file to match the full soundtrack
High-quality export suitable for playback through a venue AV system
A version of the audio separately if possible
Minor revisions if timing needs adjusting after rehearsal

The event is very soon, so fast turnaround is important.
