Recover Locked Contabo VPS Data

My CentOS Web Panel Pro VPS at Contabo was recently compromised and went completely unresponsive. At the moment, I cannot risk another forced reboot—the last reboot left the machine in an unrecoverable state and I had to fall back to a snapshot.

The immediate priority is to regain access without rebooting if at all possible. I can still reach the Contabo control-panel / rescue area, but every attempt to open the rescue console returns a connection error, so no shell is currently available. Standard SSH and VNC are both being refused.

Here’s what I need from you:
• Diagnose why the Contabo rescue console will not open and establish at least one working shell or file-level access method.
• Once access is restored, verify system integrity, copy out every website’s files and MySQL/MariaDB dumps so I can migrate them to a clean server.
• Leave detailed notes on whatever you discover about the breach so I can harden the new environment.

Please confirm your approach to gaining console access without triggering a reboot, the tools you plan to use (e.g. LVM mounts in rescue, chroot, rsync, SCP), and how long you’ll need once credentials are supplied.
