I’m looking for live, hands-on guidance that takes me all the way from a clean Xilinx BSP to a fully customised PetaLinux image running on my FPGA board. My priority is understanding every step of the build flow—tweaking the device tree, adding packages, and generating a bootable SD card image—so I can repeat the process confidently on future projects.

Once the system boots, I want to focus on writing a simple user-space application that talks directly to on-board sensors and other peripherals. Seeing the complete path—from hardware description in Vivado/Vitis through to a working C application that opens a device file, passes data over SPI or I²C, and prints results on the console—will cement the concepts for me.

Preferred format
• Interactive screen-sharing sessions (Zoom or similar) spread over a few short blocks rather than one marathon call.
• Short homework exercises between calls so I can try things on my own and come back with questions.

Deliverables I’d like to walk away with
1. A project folder containing the customised PetaLinux build, configuration fragments, and boot files proven to run on my board.
2. Sample source code for the hardware-aware application, with a brief README explaining the build and deployment steps.
3. A concise cheat-sheet or slide deck summarising the key commands, common pitfalls, and your recommended workflow.

If you routinely work with Vivado, Vitis, and the latest PetaLinux tools and enjoy teaching others, let’s schedule a quick chat and plan the first session.
