I’m building the first release of my stock-trading platform, “Trade for Tomorrow,” and the immediate priority is to wire in reliable, ultra-low-latency market data for both the NYSE and NASDAQ.

Here’s the scope:
• Connect to a proven real-time data provider (Polygon, IEX Cloud, Alpha Vantage, or your recommended alternative).
• Stream level-1 quotes, trade ticks, and basic fundamentals with sub-second refresh.
• Expose the feed through a clean, well-documented REST or WebSocket API so the rest of my application can subscribe and render charts instantly.
• Include simple throttling, reconnect logic, and error handling so the service stays resilient during high-volume sessions.
• Hand off a lightweight dashboard or sample script (Python, Node, or Go) that proves the feed is live and publishing accurately.

Acceptance criteria
1. I can pull the latest bid/ask for any NYSE or NASDAQ ticker and see it update in real time.
2. A 30-minute stress test during peak market hours shows zero dropped connections and latency consistently under 300 ms.
3. Clear README covers environment setup, keys/credentials, rate-limit considerations, and endpoints.

Portfolio tracking and trade execution are on the roadmap, so design with scaling in mind, but for this milestone the deliverable is the production-ready live data layer outlined above. Let me know which provider, language, and hosting you’d prefer and how soon you can get a demo up.
