React Native Social App Build

We’re looking for a senior developer to take full technical ownership of an existing live mobile app.

The project is already launched, but we’re transitioning away from the current development setup. The first stage will be a full technical takeover: reviewing the existing codebase and architecture, understanding the current setup, completing the handover, and identifying any missing documentation, access, dependencies, or technical issues.

The current infrastructure is managed externally, so the project may also require a full migration to new infrastructure under our control, including backend, database, deployment setup, environments, and related services.

After the takeover

We’re looking for someone to stay involved long-term and handle:

* React Native development for iOS & Android
* Backend / API maintenance
* Infrastructure and deployments
* App Store / Google Play releases
* Bug fixes and performance improvements
* Third-party integrations
* New feature development end-to-end, from technical approach through production release

Ideal candidate: someone who is comfortable inheriting an existing production codebase, investigating things independently, working through imperfect documentation, and ultimately becoming the person responsible for the technical side of the product.

Experience taking over an existing app from another development team and/or migrating production infrastructure is a big plus.
