Quick Website Bug Repair

A small but stubborn bug has crept into my site and I need it resolved swiftly without disrupting the rest of the codebase. The issue shows up on one of the core pages after normal user interaction, but I have not yet isolated whether it is a front-end rendering glitch or a back-end logic fault. You will start by reproducing the problem, identify its root cause, and then patch it with clean, well-commented code.

I am using a standard LAMP stack with a sprinkling of JavaScript on the front end, so familiarity with PHP, MySQL, HTML / CSS, and vanilla JS will help you move quickly. Once the patch is ready, I’ll verify on production and close the job right away.
