I’m designing an employee conference for a global electrical-manufacturing client and want to turn each delegate’s badge into the key for a digital treasure hunt. The QR printed on every name tag should unlock step-by-step challenges as participants move through the venue, earning points, surprise perks or swag, and a live-updated leaderboard on the main screen.
What I need from you
• A fresh, end-to-end concept for a QR-based interactive game, with the treasure-hunt mechanic at its heart.
• A concise flow diagram that shows how each scan triggers the next clue, mini-game or location hint.
• Copy suggestions for clues, hints and surprise rewards that feel on-brand for an electrical-tech audience.
• Tech stack recommendation – for example, a lightweight mobile-web app built with HTML5/React, a Firebase or AWS backend for real-time scoring, and a simple CMS so we can edit clues onsite. If you prefer another stack, pitch it.
• Badge layout specs and any dynamic print variables required so the QR codes map cleanly to each unique player profile.
• Onsite deployment checklist covering Wi-Fi, staff roles, fallback options and data-privacy notes (GDPR compliant).
• A quick demo or clickable prototype illustrating the player experience from first scan to final prize claim.
Acceptance criteria
1. Players need no downloads; scanning the QR should open instantly in a mobile browser.
2. Game must handle 500+ concurrent users with real-time score updates.
3. All copy, UI and reward logic supplied in editable format (Figma/Google Sheets).
4. Handover one week before the event so we have time for dry-run testing.
Hit me with your idea, sample screens or past work links, and let’s create something memorable for this conference.
