What are we looking for?
We are looking for a passionate Software Developer eager to learn and grow into a PS engineer within a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of Java, .NET, and Python, with 3 years of experience, and a keen interest in working with cutting-edge technologies to build robust, scalable microservices.
Join our dynamic Professional Services team at Checkmarx, where you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our valued customers across the Americas. We’re looking for talented individuals to deliver impactful services, from security code reviews to customized deployments.
How you'll make an impact:

Consult on design, planning, implementation & management of customer AppSec programs

Support customers in deploying Secure SDLC solutions

Deliver operational support/engineering across multiple Checkmarx accounts

Train/coach customers on Checkmarx platform usage and best practices

Guide customers toward sustainable Checkmarx AppSec Platform implementations

Advise enterprise customers on implementation strategies aligned to their goals/KPIs and existing tech stack

Design/document complex implementations with Support, Professional Services, and customers

Build custom integrations and automation with customers

Deliver advanced training (CI/CD, integrations, languages/frameworks, REST/SOAP APIs, etc.)

Feed field experience and customer insights back to R&D to shape product design

Identify product gaps, recommend fixes, and develop field workarounds

Conduct code reviews with customers, guiding secure coding practices using Checkmarx output

Document best practices, lessons learned, workarounds, and feature/defect requests for internal teams

Continuously build deep expertise across Checkmarx and integrated technologies

Requirements
Requirements:

3+ yrs software dev experience (Java, .NET, Python, or Mobile)

Can read/understand code at first sight

Experience with dev infra tools (source control, build servers, bug tracking)

Customer-facing technical engagement experience

Fluent English + Spanish (written/spoken); Portuguese a plus

Experience delivering technical training

Experience designing/implementing solutions per customer technical requirements

AppSec background (pentesting, code review) — strong plus

Degree preferred; Master's/CISSP a plus

Time zone: CST (Americas), standard business hours only
