I need a straightforward mobile application that lets me run the day-to-day side of my poultry farm from both iOS and Android devices. The core of the job is to build two companion apps (or one cross-platform code-base) that focus on:
• Inventory management – I only need automatic restocking alerts. When any feed, medicine, or other tracked item drops below a level I set, the app should push a notification so I can reorder on time.
• Sales & orders – The app must register new sales, keep a searchable customer database, and display live order-status updates so I always know what still has to be packed or shipped.
A clean farmer-friendly interface is essential; I should be able to open the app and find any batch, product, or customer in seconds. All data has to stay in sync between iOS and Android, whether you achieve that with a shared cloud back end (Firebase, Supabase, or similar) or another approach you prefer. If an admin web panel comes bundled in your workflow, that’s welcome, but the mobile experience is the priority.
Please outline:
1. Your proposed tech stack and why it fits this scope.
2. How you will handle real-time data sync and push notifications.
3. The timeline for a working MVP that covers the features above.
I’ll review demonstrations of similar farm, retail, or inventory apps you have built, then we can finalise milestones and get started.
