Polish My eBook PDF Design

I have a finished manuscript already laid out in PDF, but it still looks like a quick draft rather than the refined, bookshelf-ready eBook I’m after. I need your help to give it that final, classic touch.

Here’s what I expect: every page should be consistently formatted, the typography must read like a real book, and any graphic elements—chapter openers, call-outs, illustrations—should blend seamlessly with the overall design. I will supply the existing PDF and any original image assets; you’ll handle the layout formatting, graphic redesign, and any light text adjustments needed to make each spread feel cohesive.

The goal is a single, polished PDF suitable for both online distribution and high-resolution print-on-demand. Once you’re done, I should be able to upload it directly to major eBook platforms or send it to a printer without further tweaks.

To keep us aligned, I’ll look for:
• Consistent margins, headers, and footers throughout
• Elegant classic styling that nods to traditional book design (think balanced white space and timeless serif fonts)
• Clean vector or high-resolution graphics with no pixelation
• Corrected hyphenation, widows/orphans removed, and page numbers perfectly sequenced

Feel free to work in Adobe InDesign, Affinity Publisher, or any professional tool you prefer as long as the final output meets print standards (300 dpi, embedded fonts, CMYK-safe colors). Deliver both the print-ready PDF and the packaged source file so I can make small edits down the road if needed.
