Pole Barn Permit Layout

I need a complete set of drawings for a traditional-style residential pole barn that will pass permitting here in Colorado. The layout must combine comfortable living quarters with practical storage, so the floor plan should clearly show:

• Living area
• Kitchen
• Bathroom
• Common lounge area
• Dedicated storage space

Because the county reviewers focus heavily on structural safety, the plans have to reflect Colorado’s snow‐ and wind-load requirements as well as the local frost-depth standard. Please show post spacing, footing dimensions, wall girts, roof truss specs, and any shear or bracing notes that are typically requested. Basic electrical and plumbing rough-in locations for the kitchen and bath should be indicated so they align with the overall permitting package. I have a basic layout in mind for the space.

Deliverables (PDF + original CAD/Revit files preferred):
1. Dimensioned floor plan with labeled rooms and storage zone
2. Elevations on all four sides
3. At least one building section and one wall section calling out materials and fasteners
4. Foundation/post detail keyed to Colorado code references
5. Roof framing plan noting truss design or engineered alternative

Keep the sheet sizes and title block ready for direct submission; I’ll fill in the owner information once the drawings are finalized. If you have prior experience with Colorado jurisdictions, please mention it so I know you’re already familiar with their checklist.
