I have several podcast episodes that need to be turned into clean, accurate transcripts and then logged for future reference. Here is exactly what I’m after:
• Each episode transcribed in a single Word document (.docx).
• A timestamp inserted every time the speaker changes—but no need to label who is talking; I just want the content itself. For example:
[00:04:12] I really like the new feature...
• No additional speaker identification, headings, or formatting beyond clear paragraphs and the required timestamps.
• Spelling and punctuation should read naturally, omitting false starts and filler words unless they affect meaning.
Once a transcript is completed, simply record the file name and episode title in a small tracking sheet (Excel or Google Sheets is fine) so I can keep an eye on progress.
I’ll supply the audio links as soon as we start. Let me know your usual turnaround time per hour of audio and any questions you might have so we can get rolling right away.
