PLC Maintenance Mitsubishi FX5 CPU / GX Works3 for Paint Shop Automation

**Freelance PLC Programmer Required – Mitsubishi FX5 CPU / GX Works3**

We are looking for an **experienced PLC programmer (10–12+ years of hands-on experience)** with strong expertise in **Mitsubishi FX5 series PLCs and GX Works3 programming software**.

**Project Background:**
We previously supplied a **complete paint shop automation system for a client in South Africa**. One of the spray booths is currently facing an operational issue, and we require an experienced PLC programmer to troubleshoot and rectify the issue remotely.

**Issue Description:**
The spray booth has two operating cycles:

1. **Spray Cycle** – The fan starts and operates as required.
2. **Cooling Period** – The fan switches OFF as per the sequence.
3. **Bake Cycle** – When the bake cycle starts, the **inlet fan is not starting as expected**.

The PLC logic, interlocks, sequence, and associated I/O need to be reviewed to identify the root cause and implement the required correction.

**Required Expertise:**

* 10–12+ years of PLC programming/troubleshooting experience
* Strong hands-on experience with **Mitsubishi FX5 CPU**
* Proficiency in **GX Works3**
* Experience in troubleshooting existing PLC programs and modifying logic
* Good understanding of industrial automation, sequencing, interlocks, timers, fans/blowers, and paint-shop applications
* Ability to analyze an existing PLC program and identify the cause of the malfunction
* **Remote troubleshooting support** is required
* Experience with paint booths, ovens/bake booths, or similar industrial systems will be an advantage

We can provide the **existing PLC program, sequence details, I/O information, and relevant documentation** to the selected freelancer.

**Scope:** Primarily troubleshooting and correction of the existing PLC logic. If required, further remote support during testing/commissioning may also be needed.
