I’m rolling out a utility-type mobile app and need to be absolutely certain it behaves correctly on a very wide range of devices. If you already operate a phone farm—dozens or even hundreds of real phones and tablets—this job is for you.
Scope
• Install the latest build I supply (APK for Android, TestFlight link or ad-hoc IPA for iOS).
• Run the app on as many unique devices as you can across different OS versions, screen sizes, chipsets, carriers, and regional settings.
• Focus on pure compatibility: launch, login, core navigation, feature access, background/foreground transitions, and graceful handling of no-connectivity or low-battery events. Performance tuning and UX feedback are out of scope; I only need to know “works / doesn’t work” and any crash or display issue you spot.
Deliverables
1. A spreadsheet listing each device (make, model, OS version, carrier, locale) with a simple pass/fail result and short notes for any anomaly.
2. Crash logs or screenshots for every failure.
3. A concise summary highlighting patterns—e.g., “fails on Android 9 Samsung devices” or “iOS 14.x shows layout shift.”
Acceptance Criteria
• Minimum 50 unique Android devices and 30 unique iOS devices covered.
• All failures reproducible or clearly documented.
• Report returned within 5 days of receiving the build.
If your farm meets those numbers and you can turn around results quickly, let’s get started.
