Pre-Apprenticeship App Development

I have a complete pre-apprenticeship program that I now want delivered through a dedicated app. The curriculum is centred on broad industry knowledge, not just one trade or sector, so the architecture must let me slot in content that fits construction, healthcare, IT or any future field without major re-coding.

Two user groups need a smooth experience:

• Students – they should be able to register, browse lessons, complete activities, and track their own progress.
• Instructors – they need a dashboard to upload or edit modules, view class analytics, and message learners.

Core scope
1. Convert existing course materials (PDF, slide decks and short videos) into an interactive format optimised for mobile first, but still usable in a web browser.
2. Build role-based log-ins for students and instructors, with the usual password reset and profile features.
3. Include progress tracking and simple quizzes at the end of each module so learners can test their industry knowledge.
4. Keep the design clean and brand-neutral so I can re-skin it for different partner organisations.

Tech flexibility
I am open to Flutter, React Native or a comparable cross-platform framework as long as the codebase is maintainable and can later plug into an LMS if we scale up.

Acceptance criteria
• First release installs on both iOS and Android, launches, and the sample content I supply is fully viewable.
• Student account can finish a quiz and see a completion badge.
• Instructor account can publish a new lesson from the dashboard without touching code.
• Source code, build instructions and brief hand-over call delivered at the end.
