Pharma Snap-Fit Cap Prototype & DFM

I need a plastic bottle closure cap engineered with an internal cantilever snap-fit. The project starts with concept sketches and moves through a fully detailed 3-D CAD model, ready for rapid prototyping and eventually injection moulding. While I am flexible on the CAD platform—SolidWorks, Catia or even AutoCAD—the final geometry has to translate cleanly to common manufacturing workflows.

Because the cap will be used on pharmaceutical packaging, every design choice must respect the relevant pharma-grade material and dimensional control requirements, including tight sealing performance and compatibility with tamper-evident or child-resistant secondary features that we may incorporate later. Once the form is locked, I also need a Design-for-Manufacture review that identifies draft angles, parting lines, gate locations and cost-saving opportunities before we commit to tooling.

Deliverables
• Native CAD files and neutral STEP/STL for the snap-fit cap
• A physical-prototype-ready file set (3-D print or CNC)
• DFM report highlighting tooling, tolerance and material considerations for pharmaceutical compliance

I will supply bottle neck specs and target resin once the project begins and can answer any dimensional or regulatory questions as we progress.
