PDF Text to Word & Excel

I need a faithful, editable reproduction of my PDFs in both Word (DOCX) and, where practical, Excel (XLSX). Every file is text-based, and I want the look and feel of the original pages carried over—fonts, headings, spacing, bullet styles, everything. The documents also include special characters and symbols, so accurate character mapping is essential; no dropped accents, mis-read glyphs, or question-mark boxes.

Source PDFs will be provided as soon as the project begins. I’ll review a short sample first: one page converted to Word and, if any tabular data appears, transferred to Excel as well. Once that sample is approved, continue with the remaining pages.

Deliverables
• One DOCX per PDF, layout preserved.
• Matching XLSX files when tables or clearly tabular text can be sensibly structured.
• All fonts embedded or substituted with visually identical, freely distributable fonts.

Acceptance criteria: the converted Word files open without reflow, page breaks align within ±1 pt of the original, and every special character renders correctly.

If you use tools such as Adobe Acrobat, ABBYY FineReader, or comparable OCR/format-retention software, that’s fine—just make sure the output passes the checks above.
