I have a folder full of PDF reports—each one contains the same table layout from page to page. I need a repeat-able way to pull those tables out and drop the data into Excel, with every PDF landing on its own worksheet inside a single workbook.

Because the layout never changes, the job is perfect for automation. A Python script using PyPDF2, Camelot, or Tabula-py is fine, and I’m open to Power Query or VBA if you prefer. What matters most is accuracy, zero manual copy-and-paste, and a process I can rerun whenever new PDFs arrive.

Acceptance criteria
• Script reads every PDF in a chosen folder and recognises the fixed table structure.
• Creates/updates one Excel file, naming each worksheet after the source PDF (or a logical alias I can configure).
• Preserves column headers exactly as they appear in the PDF.
• No data loss, misaligned columns, or merged-cell issues.

Deliverables
1. The full, well-commented source code or macro.
2. A sample run using three of my PDFs, showing correct export to separate sheets.
3. A brief read-me explaining setup and how to change the target folder or output path.

If you’ve done similar extraction work before, let me know any libraries or techniques you found most reliable so we get this running smoothly on the first pass.
