We're Solar Design Expert, an engineering firm based in India that provides solar PV design, permitting, battery storage, microgrid, and EV charger design services to US solar installers, EPCs, and electrical contractors.
We're moving our outbound marketing in-house and need one experienced person to run it. You'll manage our cold email campaigns on Instantly (we'll purchase the subscription) and handle LinkedIn outreach and posting. This is an ongoing role, not a one-time setup.
Cold email (Instantly):
Set up and warm up sending domains and inboxes, with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configured correctly
Build targeted lead lists of US solar installers, EPCs, and electrical contractors (using Apollo or a similar tool, verified before sending)
Write and test email sequences with us, then run A/B tests on subject lines and openers
Monitor deliverability, bounce rates, and replies; keep domains healthy
Tag and hand over interested replies quickly so we can book calls
LinkedIn:
Run connection and follow-up outreach from the founder's profile, in line with LinkedIn limits
Write and schedule 2–3 posts per week (project highlights, technical tips, company updates). We'll provide the technical content; you shape it into posts
Engage with prospects' posts and grow a relevant network of US solar decision-makers
Reporting:
Short weekly report covering emails sent, reply rate, positive replies, meetings booked, LinkedIn connections, and post performance
What we're looking for:
Proven hands-on experience with Instantly (or Smartlead/Lemlist) and domain warm-up
Past B2B cold email results you can show, ideally selling services to US businesses
Strong written English that sounds natural, not templated
Experience in solar, construction, or engineering services is a strong plus
Reliable, responsive, and comfortable being judged on results: qualified replies and booked meetings
To apply, please answer these in your bid:
1. Share one cold email campaign you've run: target audience, volume, reply rate, and meetings booked.
2. How would you set up domains and inboxes for about 1,000 emails per week without hurting deliverability?
3. Write a sample 3-line opening email to a US solar installer offering outsourced permit design.
4. Your availability (hours per week) and your time zone overlap with US business hours.
Bids that don't answer these questions won't be considered.
