Order Status Data Entry

All of my order status information still lives in handwritten logbooks. I’m ready to move it into a clean, searchable digital file and keep it that way. Each week, I will send scans of the new pages; you’ll key them in and return an updated master file.

For every line item I need four fields captured exactly as they appear: Order ID, current status, full customer details, and product details. Consistent formatting and zero transcription errors are essential because the file feeds our internal reports and customer notifications.

Deliverables
• Initial digitisation of the existing paper backlog in a single Excel or Google Sheet (your choice, but keep the layout consistent).
• Weekly update of new orders delivered every Friday.
• Separate note highlighting any illegible or missing information.

Acceptance criteria
• 100 % of provided records entered.
• No duplicates.
• Field names and data types match the agreed template.

If you already work comfortably in Excel or Google Sheets and have an eye for detail, this should be straightforward.
