Optimize Website Speed & Video

My site, www.ktigermartialarts.com, currently drags on the very first screen. The hero-section video buffers and the rest of the content hesitates to appear, so loading speed is my top priority. I need an experienced developer to audit the existing build, pinpoint exactly what is slowing it down, and implement proven fixes—whether that means smarter caching, code minification, image and video compression, better hosting configuration, or any other performance technique you deem necessary.

The end goal is clear: the homepage should open quickly and the background video must play smoothly on desktop and mobile alike. Once performance is solid, I also have a handful of straightforward content updates to work through, such as refreshing copy and swapping a few images.

Acceptance will be based on:
• Largest Contentful Paint under 2.5 s on both mobile and desktop (Google PageSpeed).
• No visible stutter or buffering during the hero video’s first playback.
• No broken layouts or functionality after the changes.
