I’m looking to bring in a seasoned network engineer who can set up and maintain a reliable, secure infrastructure for my small business. The core of the work revolves around hands-on router and switch configuration as well as a smooth, business-grade wireless network rollout.

Here’s what I need from you:
• Assess the current layout, cabling, and internet feed and propose an optimal topology.
• Configure routers and layer-2/3 switches for VLANs, QoS, DHCP, and basic firewall rules.
• Design and deploy a secure Wi-Fi network with appropriate SSIDs, encryption, and guest access segregation.
• Document the final configuration and provide a simple, step-by-step guide for routine maintenance.
• Offer post-deployment support for any tweaks or troubleshooting during the first month.

Experience with Cisco, MikroTik, Ubiquiti, or similar small-business hardware is important—please mention the gear you know best. If you have suggestions on hardware upgrades or licensing that will keep us scalable without breaking the bank, I’m all ears.

I’d like this completed efficiently, with minimal downtime to daily operations. When you respond, tell me about a comparable small-business network you’ve set up and the results you achieved.
