I’m assembling a small pool of detail-oriented manual testers who can work entirely remote and jump in whenever a new build is ready. Because our releases vary—sometimes a public-facing website, other times a mobile or desktop app—flexibility is key.

Here’s what the work typically involves
• I provide the build, high-level requirements, and any existing test cases.
• You explore the product, execute the cases, and note defects with clear steps to reproduce, screenshots or screen videos, and environment details.
• At the end of each cycle, you return a concise report (spreadsheet or the project’s Jira board) that lets my developers act immediately.

Core skills I’m after
• Solid functional testing experience and an eye for usability issues.
• Comfortable switching between browsers, emulators, or real devices on Windows, Android, and iOS when needed.
• Clear written English so defect logs are unambiguous.

Deliverables per test round
1. Completed test log with pass/fail status.
2. Separate defect list including severity, reproduction steps, and evidence.
3. A brief summary of overall quality and any blocking issues.

If you enjoy methodically breaking things, have a stable internet connection, and can usually turn tests around within 24 hours of assignment, I’d like to hear from you.
