I already have the full source code for my Engulfing Candlestick indicator and it works, but I need its calculation parameters tightened so the logic properly accounts for the relative length and size of each candle. The goal is simple: keep the original behaviour intact while making the engulfing check more precise.
Here is what I expect from you:
• Go through the current functions that decide whether one candle engulfs another.
• Adjust the length/size thresholds so the detection remains strict enough to be reliable yet flexible for various market conditions.
• Return the updated, well-commented source file and a brief note on what was changed so I can follow the new logic quickly.
If you can load the indicator, adjust the parameters cleanly, and send back a compile-ready file that produces identical visual output but with the improved length/size calculation, we’re good to go.
